In order to thoroughly implement the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of Cleaner Production", according to the former State Environmental Protection Administration's "Notice on the Issuance of Provisions on Cleaner Production Audit Procedures for Key Enterprises" (Huanfa  No. 151), "Notice of the Ministry of Environmental Protection on Further Strengthening Cleaner Production Audit Work for Key Enterprises" (Huanfa  No. 60) and "Notice on Further Promoting Cleaner Production for Key Enterprises" (Huanfa  No. 54) and other documents,
On 8 November 2021, China Glass International Investment Limited, as the purchaser and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, entered into the Share Purchase Agreement with Belt and Road Glass Industry Integration Fund L.P., as the vendor, for the acquisition of the entire equity interest in Royal Orchid Development Limited ("Royal Orchid") at a consideration of US$66.42 million (equivalent to approximately HK$516.75 million). Completion of the Share Purchase Agreement ("Completion") was effected on 28 December 2021. Royal Canin became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company upon Completion (the "Royal Canin Acquisition J"). Further details of the Royal Canin Acquisition are set out in Part II, Item 33(b) of the consolidated financial statements.
According to the "Greenhouse Gas Emission Accounting Methodology and Reporting Guidelines for Chinese Flat Glass Producers (for Trial Implementation)" issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, the main body of this report has accounted for the greenhouse gas emissions in 2020 and filled in the relevant data forms.
