Amorphous silicon thin film solar modules have significant advantages over traditional polycrystalline silicon based solar cells. On the one hand, in technology, although the general module efficiency is lower than the traditional silicon crystal solar cells, but in low light and low irradiation angle has a better efficiency, in the wind and sand, cloudy and rainy areas effect is obvious, so can provide a longer power generation time, with the continuous progress of technology, conversion efficiency will certainly be further improved. On the other hand, the investment cost is low, and the production power consumption is only 8% - 10% of polysilicon, which is in line with the general trend of China's energy-saving and environmental protection strategy. In addition, it can be used in a wide range of applications, not only for power generation, but also for construction materials and consumer electronics. The total investment of the project is about 30 million U.S. dollars, the initial production of 10 MW amorphous silicon thin film solar cell group, the overall completion of the formation of an annual output of 20MW production capacity. The project will achieve an annual net EBITDA of US$36 million.
