In the morning of May 16, Shandong Provincial Government held a teleconference on energy

conservation assessment and awarding while also strongly praising energy conservation advanced

enterprises of the year 2011. Our company was awarded the title of Shandong Energy Conservation

Advanced Enterprise. Ms. Zhang Hui, Deputy Secretary of Weihai CPC Committee and Mayor of Weihai,

Mr. Xu Lianxin, Deputy Mayor of Weihai attended the teleconference in Weihai and respectively delivered

their addresses. Mr. Qu Yanchun, Deputy Chief Manager of CNG Science and Technology Co.,

Ltd also attended the teleconference.

In the year 2011, our company thoroughly implemented the Scientific Outlook on Development under the

correct leadership of Weihai CPC Committee and Weihai Municipal Government. We always keep

energy conservation in our mind according to the guidelines of Shandong CPC Committee, Shandong

Provincial Government, Weihai CPC Committee and Weihai Municipal Government. We performed very

well in energy conservation during 2011 by strengthening measures and implementing steady practices.

We made a great contribution to the industrial structure adjustment of the whole city.

Zhang Hui stated that "energy conservation and emission reduction is an important breakthrough for

industrial structure adjustment and the primary task of building an eco-friendly Weihai. Every department

of the government and every company should spare no effort in accomplishing every of these

objectives". Firstly, our company is enhancing industrial structure adjustment and accelerating the new

energy project of utilizing waste gas and heat from Blue Star glass production line for power generation.

Secondly, we are strengthening the control of energy conservation and consumption reduction of new

projects. Thirdly, we are financially supporting large energy consumers and energy conservation

companies in their technical progress to conserve more energy. Fourthly, we are promoting the

monitoring of energy conservation in significant areas so as to boost the social responsibility of

enterprises. Our entrepreneurs should play a model role in this respect.
